Manifesto 2008:
-       make quality contemporary art available to everyone
-       provide a platform for talented young visual artists
-       expose and support talented young visual artists
-       fill urban walls with contemporary art
-       provide financial support to young visual artists
-       provide an international network for schools, galleries, and artists
-       break free / escape from the traditional art market
-       reinterpret the way art is perceived and the way it is sold
Our ultimate ambitions
- make quality design/art available to the anyone that’s interested (everyone)
- expose and support young and talented visual artists in a global search for exciting and new contemporary design/art.
- To make a difference.
Observation:
The art market has become a collectors dream (incredible prices and increases in investment). For whatever purpose a collector collects, whether because of pure love of art or even financial reasons (both of which are justifiable), most quality art has become something purely affordable by those with the sufficient financial funding. To many a person however, to own a picture by a quality artist has become a dream.
How/what/when?
After exhaustively researching the art market, we will have built up a list of young and amazingly talented artists and a “knowledge database” that we can pick and choose from at will.
How would it work?
A piece of art is either entered by artists themselves or provided by the literoom and shall be chosen by the literoom (and friends). This piece will be digitally copied and reproduced on highest quality "büttenpapier" (engl. ?) in "hexachrome" colours. The reproduction should ensure that no loss of quality can be garanteed. The images will be printed in limited series only – and shall receive a numbering and signature by the artist including a biography and explanation of the piece.
